Coaching to help you have the end-of-life transition you truly want

End-of-life coaching specifically helps individuals who are approaching the end of their physical life on Earth really maximize their transition experience. You won’t feel like you have to “ go it alone”. You’ll feel ready to embrace this transition and approach your transformation with curiosity and openness while feeling supported and empowered to create the transition you want. Courage is needed for this journey, too, and I’m here to help you find it.

If you’re approaching the end of your life and feeling like...

You’re all alone

You know your time here is winding down, and the road is lonely. You’re craving human connection and support. You’re afraid you have to do this all by yourself.

You want to squeeze every ounce of joy out of your remaining time

You want to make the most of the time you have left, and you’re not sure how to do that. Everyone else’s ideas of how to spend your days are crowding out your own, and you’re getting frustrated. You feel called to really maximize your time before your transition.

You are lost trying to navigate difficult conversations with loved ones

Even though it’s your transition, other people are involved, and they’re having their own struggles with your experience. This is causing a lot of conversations, many of which you don’t even want to be having in the first place. You’re anxious, stressed, and maybe even a little angry or resentful. You want to navigate these well, but you’re also trying to respect your own boundaries at the same time.

Imagine this...

You're approaching your end-of-life transition, feeling in-charge and clear about what you want your experience to be like.

'Nicole is passionate about helping other become the best version of themselves, and she is authentic and personable'

I would absolutely recommend Nicole to anyone interested in exploring life coaching. Nicole is passionate about helping other become the best version of themselves, and she is authentic and personable. It was very comfortable working with her on the uncomfortable change in myself.

'she makes sure I never take my eyes off the prize'

I can’t speak for everyone, but I know that sometimes I personally just needed a sounding board, and that was Nicole. Once I say something out loud, I usually can create a pretty solid game plan. Having Nicole in my corner was also incredibly beneficial when it came to self-confidence. I have no doubt that there is nothing I cannot accomplish, but that doesn’t mean I’m actually ready right now. It’s never a no, just not yet. Nicole helps me balance this. We set a game plan and prepare to deviate if necessary, but she makes sure I never take my eyes off the prize.

FAQ

We’ll decide this together! Virtual meetings are great for coaching, and it also works great over the phone. Of course, if it works geographically, good old-fashioned face-to-face meetings are lovely, too! We’ll decide together what will work best for you.

Consulting: Consulting is typically information or expertise-based and advisory in nature. Consultants are expected to have experience in that specific area and are able to advise and recommend specific courses of action. Coaching is not that. Life coaching is focused on helping you learn how to use YOUR wisdom to identify needed changes and courses of action, and once those have been identified, I’m here to help you figure out how to actually make those changes. I won’t tell you what to change, but I’ll help you figure that out and then coach you through integration and transformation.

Therapy:
Life coaching is not therapy, and life coaches are not psychologists or psychotherapists. Life coaching focuses on the present and the client’s goals for the future. I’ll help you move forward and set personal and professional goals to help you build the life and career you really want and make the courageous transformations necessary to get you there.

This is completely dependent on the client and their goals. Most engagements start with a minimum of five sessions and the majority of those continue beyond those five sessions. In certain cases, a shorter duration will work based on what the client is trying to achieve, but even in those cases, the length of agreement is influenced by the client experience, readiness to embrace change, and even unforeseen circumstances that pop up along the way. We’ll talk about all of this in your exploratory call to make sure you have a good starting point if we decide to work together.

Heck no! I do ask that you do some reflection in preparation for the exploratory call to identify some areas where life could use a tune-up, but you absolutely do not need to come to the first meeting with everything nailed down specifically. We’ll work on that together, and I’ll help you get really clear on your desired outcomes before we dive in.

Yep, it will! We’ll follow a similar process of identifying areas of “least satisfaction” and clarifying goals and desired outcomes, and we’ll work together on identifying steps you want to take. While some clients start this way, many decide to continue because they keep on identifying more interesting things to take on!

Unequivocally, yes. I can only speak from my own experience both as the Coach and as a Client, but yes. It’s been a lifesaver for me and I’ve seen the powerful changes and forward progress my clients have been able to achieve.

As of September, 2021, I am in process to achieve dual certification in life coaching by the International Coaching Federation and the Martha Beck Institute Wayfinder Life Coach Training program.

'I have learned to trust the process and trust myself'

I would recommend coaching to anyone who wants a boost to their life or career plan. The tools I have learned have allowed me to focus on what I can control and to work with others on what I cannot. I have learned to trust the process and trust myself. It was helpful to have someone that I could trust throughout the process to check in with.
